These easily grown and heavy flowering North American natives bring bright color to the summer and fall garden. Though the common name seems to imply an allergic reaction, it actually refers to the use of the dried leaves as a snuff substitute. The daisy like 2 to 3 inch flowers are held on tall stems with dark green lance-shaped foliage. Plant in any average, well-drained soil.
