Achillea

Undemanding and easy-to-grow.

The showy, flattened flower heads of achillea, or yarrow, are widely used for both fresh and dried arrangements. Their foliage is fern-like and aromatic, adding a wonderful airy texture to flower beds and borders. Achillea thrives in any well-drained, average to poor soil. Deadheading will prolong the bloom period. Plants should be divided every 2 to 3 years for vigor and size control.
