Long-blooming!

Astrantia, or Masterwort, is a perennial common in European gardens. Flowers have domed centers surrounded by star-like bracts, carried on bare stems above mounds of palm-like foliage. Very effective when naturalized under light, open trees or along streams. Prefers moist, well-drained, fertile soil.
