A very tall, heavy-blooming Thalictrum with strong, crimson stems that support abundant delicate purple flowers in early summer. The flowers are replaced by attractive yellow stamens that last all summer. This hybrid of T. delavayi and T. elegans creates an upright, grass-like effect in the border. These plants are fairly intolerent of hot, humid conditions, position accordingly.
